A home that feels like a family dwelling
Lisette House is a substantial five-bedroom semi-detached property with two bathrooms, located in a quiet family-based leafy neighbourhood in close proximity to all amenities. Upon arriving there is an off-road driveway suitable for two cars, with appropriate space for young people to engage in activities, relax, work towards their individual life skills and live within a family environment.
The porch opens onto a welcoming, airy hallway leading to a vibrant open-plan dining and living room, where double-sized windows fill the space with natural light for family mealtimes. The living room leads onto a small conservatory used for storage, and the kitchen is perfectly sized with space for a small table for those kitchen chats.

Adaptations
Designed with young people in mind
Lisette House has had a change of use from single-family occupation to a residential children’s home, adapted to reflect a family dwelling and comfort — no expense spared, because we believe our young people deserve the best we can offer. It was a conscious decision to have only a five-bedded home, allowing more quality time with young people and better outcomes for them.
The home is registered to accommodate young people aged eight to eighteen, with respective ages considered in the pre-admission Risk Assessment, and offers its services to mixed-gender placements. Four bedrooms are for young people and one is a staff sleep-in room, with only a small office space to reflect a natural family home.
To foster ownership and comfort, young people can select their own bedroom on admission (subject to availability), with funds allocated to decorate their rooms and choose their own bedding and soft furnishings.
